- Register by Monday, September 25
- Members – Free / Nonmembers – $60
Librarians are well-known for their problem-solving expertise and cost-saving research skills. Now, librarians are also effectively expanding their capabilities into the ediscovery arena. A recent survey of 25 AmLaw 200 law firms highlights that ediscovery is becoming even more vital as law firms assist with internal or regulatory investigations. This shift not only impacts firms, but also academia, courts, and nonprofits. Participants will learn how to communicate the value and unique skills librarians bring to the organization’s ediscovery team, and what it takes to help your organization stay on top of rules and trends critical to ediscovery work.

FOR THE LEADER IN YOU
In today’s technology-driven world where knowledge abounds and communication never ceases, burnout has become one of the leading causes of workplace dissatisfaction, stress, unhappiness, and health problems. One survey even suggested that an employee in a leadership role typically feels the effect of burnout after a short six months. One way to combat burnout at work is to know your capacity as a leader in your workplace or organization, and try not to exceed it.
Below are some resources that provide ideas and insights into how to prevent leaders from burning out:
- “Prevent Burnout by Making Compassion a Habit” by Annie McKee and Kandi Wiens
- “11 Signs You’re Nearing Burnout at Work” by Forbes Coaches Council
- “5 Ways To Keep Leaders From Burnout” by Chris Surratt
