Speakers:

Carol Jo (CJ) Lechtenberg
Director, Westlaw Product Management
CJ currently works on the Westlaw Product Management team leading innovation and developing enhancements to solve customer problems. CJ joined TR in 2002 as a reference attorney and began her product development career in 2006. She has been working on Westlaw development since 2009. She has her Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law, as well as multiple Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting, Business Administration and History/Political Science from the University of Jamestown.


Merine Thomas
Architect
Merine currently works as an architect with the Center for AI and Cognitive Computing leading a team of research scientists and engineers to solve challenging and fantastic problems for customers using various AI disciplines. Merine joined TR in 2006 as software engineer with the Center (then known as the Research & Development). Since then she has worked on developing various products for TR that uses NLP, ML, NLG, NER and other AI techniques in legal, news and financial domains. She has her Master of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University and Bachelor of Technology from University of Kerala, India.
