Live Interview Series: So, You Wanna Work Intergenerationally?

Tuesday, April 7, 2020 (1pm - 1:30pm US/Central)

DESCRIPTION

The US workforce contains a wider range of generations than ever before. As workers born in the 90’s and 2000’s enter the workforce, they’re encountering coworkers in their 60’s and 70’s who simply aren’t ready to retire. Experts claim that workers from these generations exhibit differing attitudes toward employment, co-workers, professionalism, and leadership.

This month, we will interview Ron Wheeler and Shira Megerman, two professionals from different generations who work well together. While we probably won’t ask them what generation they belong to, we will talk about what each brings to the table, and exactly how they learned to effectively “work intergenerationally.” This series is brought to you by the Professional Engagement, Growth & Advancement SIS and the AALL Continuing Professional Education Committee.

The deadline to register for this event is April 5.
