AALL Virtual Coffee Chat: Copyright Policies for Law LibrariesTuesday, August 10, 2021 (3pm - 3:45pm US/Central) |

Library staff are continually called upon to make difficult decisions about acceptable copying, document delivery, and e-reserves for faculty, students, and the public, especially in light of the abrupt transition to a virtual model required by the COVID pandemic. In this coffee chat, we will discuss our libraries’ experiences with developing and revising internal copyright policies, from policy conception and drafting to working with stakeholders including the General Counsel’s office, university and law school administration, and copyright experts. This conversation will be relevant beyond copyright policy and will benefit anyone who is considering policy change in their libraries and universities. Join us for this informal conversation, proposed by the AALL Copyright Committee and co-moderated by Ingrid Mattson (Cardozo School of Law) and Stephen M. Wolfson (University of Georgia School of Law).
Please note: AALL virtual coffee chats are not recorded and registration is open to AALL members only.
