Implementing International Law Nationally: Incorporating International Law in Argentina, Chile, and Colombia (FCIL-SIS)
Friday, May 20, 2022 (12pm - 1pm US/Central)
International treaties have real impacts on people’s lives, but how do we incorporate this international legislation into domestic law? This presentation will show us, through practical examples, how this incorporation takes place in Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. Speakers will analyze the similarities and differences in how these countries incorporate treaties into domestic law, discuss the resolution of legal conflicts between treaties and domestic law, and explain how to research international treaties signed by each of these countries.
This webinar is sponsored by the FCIL-SIS Latin American Law Interest Group. All registrants will receive a recording of the webinar.
This webinar is open to all AALL members. Register now.
