Recent Changes to ABA Accreditation Standards and Suggested Revisions: A Coffee Chat (ALL-SIS) Wednesday, December 7, 2022 (1pm - 2pm US/Central)

The ALL-SIS Continuing Education and Continuing Status/Tenure committees invite you to a coffee chat to discuss the recent changes to ABA accreditation standards and their impact on your library. Changes to Standard 303 introduce the requirement of education about bias, cross-cultural competency and racism, and also professional identity formation. Changes to Standard 508 relate to student support services. This will also give attendees a chance to discuss any necessary revisions to the current standards for law libraries, such as tenure status, clarity on "assessment with dean", definition of personnel, etc.
