Join the Professional Engagement, Growth, & Advancement SIS (PEGA-SIS) for another webinar in their Live Interview Series. Advocating for yourself at work can be a daunting task, but one that's necessary for professional and personal growth. In this "So, You Wanna...?" interview, Trezlen Drake, one of the PEGA founders, will talk with Leslie Bleichner on how she has advocated for herself in the workplace, and how others can do the same.

Target Audience: Anyone who is interested in learning about advocating for oneself in the workplace or professional settings.

Speaker: Leslie Bleichner, Assistant Chief Diversity Officer, Grinnell College (She/Her/Hers). Leslie is the Assistant Chief Diversity Officer: Community Training, Education, and Belonging. She is charged with implementing intercultural programming and providing educational training to the campus with a focus on improving the lived experiences of community members with underrepresented and historically marginalized identities. Leslie graduated from Grinnell College in 2007 with a BA in Sociology. She also holds an MA in Organizational Communication and Multicultural Communication, with a Training and Development specialization from DePaul University.

Moderator: Trezlen Drake, Head of Digital Resources and Foreign, International Law Librarian, Yale Law School (She/Her/Ms.) An active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), Trezlen worked with her Caucus executive board to create PEGA-SIS, the special interest section for newer law librarians and librarians interested in deepening professional growth. Trezlen earned a law degree at Georgia State University College of Law, a library degree from the University of Washington, and recently completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in creative writing at the University of South Carolina. She is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.
