What in the world…Is happening in Haiti? (BLL-SIS & FCIL-SIS)

Wednesday, February 22, 2023 (12pm - 1pm US/Central)

On February 22, 2023, the Black Law Librarians Special Interest Section (BLL-SIS) and the Foreign, Comparative and International Law Special Interest Section (FCIL-SIS) are hosting the first webinar in a series of webinars on international events that may impact FCIL-SIS and the wider AALL membership. It is co-sponsored by the BLL-SIS and is a Black History Month event. This webinar will focus on the history of Haiti, the current situation, what the future may be, and a view of this issue from a librarian’s perspective (i.e. finding resources relative to Haiti). The panelists are Stephanie Delia, Magalie Desince, and Irwin Stotzky, and it will be moderated by Lyonette Louis-Jacques.

This webinar is open to all AALL members. Register now.
