Knowledge Management in Practice – From Drawing Board to Action

Thursday, November 15, 2018 (11am - 12pm US/Central)
My Meetings

DESCRIPTION

Registration is closed for this event.

The nebulous world of Knowledge Management (KM) can keep us so bogged down in the question of “What is KM” that we can’t seem to move to the next step of planning for Knowledge Management initiatives. To drive your success with KM you must pick the right goal and understand how your plan fits into your organization’s strategic goals, culture, and structure. A successful and sustainable KM initiative is tailored to those organizational factors and includes active involvement from champions for your initiatives. Join us for a program on designing a road map for a specific KM project, including setting realistic goals and timelines. We will also explore a case study of a successful KM project in place.

Attendees will learn:
• a functional definition of knowledge management and know how to apply it to their own organizations.
• how to design a road map for your own knowledge management project.
