2017 OBS-SIS Candidate for Secretary/Treasurer

I am very pleased to run for election to the OBS board: it would be an honor to serve this section as Secretary/Treasurer. I am the Technical Services Librarian at OSU’s Moritz Law Library, and have really benefited from my OBS membership since 2010, going back to my first local systems roundtable. This SIS does a great job of welcoming and involving its newer members, and I have learned a lot from working with the board as Local Systems chair. I enjoy the sort of administrative work that is involved with the Secretary/Treasurer position and hope to get the chance to give back in that capacity.
OBS is such an inclusive and supportive community within AALL, with a long tradition of effective leadership from the Executive Board. I would be proud to be a part of that as Secretary/Treasurer, and to help continue its great service to our membership.
