Upcoming Council Chair Election

Stay tuned for information about the candidates for next year's Chair of the Council of Chapter Presidents. Their names and statements will be forwarded to you soon. The election will begin in mid-March.

Upcoming AALL Executive Board Meeting

The next meeting of the AALL Executive Board is March 31st and April 1st. Agenda items must be submitted by March 1st. Chapters can submit agenda items by completing the submission form at I will be attending the meeting, so please contact me if there is anything you think I should be aware of before the meeting.

Chapter Leadership Activities in St. Louis

Many events are being planned for chapter leadership during the St. Louis Annual Meeting in July. Many of the events will take place on Saturday, July 8th, so please keep this in mind when you make your travel plans. Saturday morning's activity is a workshop designed to help chapters put on educational programs. This will be followed by a Joint Chapter Council and SIS Council Lunch. There will be chapter leadership roundtables in the early afternoon that will give you information on such things as how to write your annual report. The Chapter Council's business meeting will be late afternoon.
