In order to effectively prepare law students for practice, academic law librarians need a clearer understanding of how legal research is conducted in practice, and law firm librarians need to know what skills are currently being taught in law school. To help bridge this gap, past AALL meetings have included a discussion between law firm and academic librarians. This presentation is a continuation of that discussion and will focus on actual collaborations between organizations. Participants will also share ways they are addressing legal research training issues at their own organizations.
