SEC filings can be treasure troves of valuable information—if you know where to look. In this session, speakers will identify exactly where to find 30 key pieces of competitive intelligence (CI) information in SEC filings, explaining why this information is important and how it is used. For example, the auditor and audit fees disclosed in the audit committee report in the rear of the company’s annual meeting proxy (DEF 14A) could be used by a competitor or client to see what a competitive accounting firm charges. It could also be used by another public company to negotiate its audit fees. This program is sponsored by the PLLIP-SIS.
