Technology continues to dramatically alter how generations of attorneys work. From typewriters to word processors to personal computers, or poster boards to PowerPoint, attorneys and legal professionals have adopted technologies that augment and optimize their work. Using the three stages of technology implementation—content creation, content delivery, and content preservation—this session will explore the next generation of emerging technologies and examine how librarians can be the pioneers in adopting these technologies and training attorneys on how to use them. Technologies to be explored are virtual reality, augmented reality, mobile technologies, custom app development, and wearable technology.
