This session will provide an overview on the legal industry’s current security threat landscape. It will define key terminology and the Dark Web and provide cyber-attack statistics at firms, law schools, and government agencies. The speakers will include members of ILTA’s LegalSEC Committee who will explain how organizations leverage technology and provide security awareness training to protect against attacks and meet client demands regarding security. They will address the pain points of requests for greater access, software implementations, downloading, and more. They will provide best practices to help develop effective methods to communicate future requests and responses and collaborate to promote security awareness throughout their organizations.
