Library catalog users are often not the same people charged with building and maintaining those catalogs. Cataloging standards change, but how does that affect the searcher? Geared toward legal professionals with a lot of searching experience and staff who want to know more about catalog structure, this session will explain the concepts underpinning national library standards including RDA, Bibframe, and Linked Data, as well as their relevance to legal libraries of all types and sizes. A list of resources for further information on these topics will also be included.
