  • 1:00–1:45 P.M. CDT – Program: Policy or Procedure: How to Address Collection Development
    A conversation about how to approach & simplify collection development policies in a changing ABA standards, post-pandemic world. Attendees will gain insight into how academic law libraries are taking fresh approaches to collection development policies & will be able to apply some of these ideas to collection development policies & practices at their own libraries.
  • 2:00–2:45 P.M. CDT – Vendor Supplied Records Advisory Working Group (VRAG) Meeting

    What is Worldshare Collection Manager? Why use it? What’s the typical workflow? Participants will learn how to configure OCLC Worldshare Collection Manager, the types of collections available, how to set up the delivery of MARC records, & the customization options/settings for MARC records at the institution-level & collection-level.

  • 1:00–1:45 P.M. CDT – Metadata Management Standing Committee (MMSC) Meeting
  • 2:00–2:45 P.M. CDT – Program: RDA Webinars Discussion
    The MMSC, in conjunction with the TS-SIS PDC, would like to conduct a series of brief webinars (one hour or less) of various aspects of understanding the new RDA. We invite you to this discussion if you: a) know of someone who is knowledgeable about the new RDA and/or its application to cataloging legal resources; or b) have a particular aspect of RDA that you would like to have covered in a brief webinar. We would like to keep this discussion focused on what we can all do to aid each other in understanding the new iteration of cataloging rules.
