COFFEE CHATS

Coffee Chats give AALL members the opportunity to participate in discussions with colleagues across the country on a variety of topics including work, wellness, and life. Please note all coffee chat moderators and participants must be AALL members. Coffee chats are not recorded.

AALL Coffee Chats average 60 registrants, with a maximum of 100 attendees.

AALL WEBINARS

AALL Webinars feature presentation by your legal information peers’ recent innovations, hot topics, trends, and best practices. These are free to AALL members, and available for nonmembers to purchase.

AALL Webinars average 135 registrants, with a maximum of 500 attendees.

PARTNER WEBINARS

Vendors have the opportunity to widen their strategic footprint, highlight new innovations, share expert knowledge on topics that shape the legal information landscape, and expand reach with legal information decision-makers through the Partner Webinars. These are free to AALL members, and available for nonmembers to purchase. More information may be found here.

AALL Partner Webinars average 140 registrants, with a maximum of 500 attendees.

SUBMIT AN ONLINE EDUCATION IDEA

AALL invites you to contribute to a great community of experts and discussion leaders by sharing your topic ideas for a future webinar or coffee chat.

Proposals must relate directly to topics important to law librarians and legal information professionals, and address domain and skill areas identified within the AALL Body of Knowledge. Members are encouraged to submit proposals at any time. Please be clear and succinct when providing details.

  • AALL will develop a timeline and work with you to finalize the program details.
  • Webinars are typically scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Central on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Coffee Chats are typically scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
  • A dry run is scheduled about a week before the live broadcast to ensure seamless production.
  • AALL will not accept proposals intended solely to promote commercial products.
  • Only AALL members may submit a proposal and present a webinar or coffee chat.
  • Partner Webinar submissions will be reviewed by AALL Staff as fulfillment of contracted sponsorship agreements.

Review Process

  • Webinar submissions will be reviewed within 30 days by the Continuing Professional Education Committee for potential inclusion in the AALL Webinar series.
  • Coffee Chat submissions will be reviewed by AALL Staff within seven days for potential inclusion in the AALL  Coffee Chat series.

SIS MEETINGS & WEBINARS

Special Interest Sections (SIS) may request use of AALL’s GoToMeeting license to schedule an online meeting for SIS business or AALL’s GoToWebinar license to host a webinar for their members or AALL members. More information and the submission form may be found here.
