Virtual Coffee Chat: Mindful Stressbusting: Crafting
Tuesday, September 13, 2022 (3pm - 3:45pm US/Central)
Law school as well as the practice of law are highly stressful endeavors. Anything we can do to help our communities navigate the challenging environment in which they must operate is a good idea. Crafternoons, like those offered by public libraries, can be a great way to help students and lawyers unwind. Crafting provides a creative outlet that helps our constituents cope with perfectionism, stress, and depression. They can connect with their inner child, and unleash creative skills they never knew they had. There are many alternatives to explore: knitting, crochet, cross stitch, origami, scrapbooking, water colors, the list is practically endless. Join us for an informal conversation, co-moderated by Margaret Kiel-Morse (Indiana University Maurer School of Law) and Heather Simmons (University of Georgia School of Law Library).
Please note: AALL virtual coffee chats are not recorded and registration is limited and open to AALL members only.
